Large Daniel Mendelowitz retrospective exhibit poster from 1970. Signed and on heavy art paper. A lithograph of his original painting Winter Sky 1970 in rubbed graphite and pencil. Framed in vintage wood under art plexi. In nice condition save for a few age spots to the paper.

1905-1980 A painter, writer, teacher and lecturer, Daniel Mendelowitz preferred watercolor as his painting medium. Born in North Dakota, he was active the California Art Scene after moving there. He was the author of several books, and from 1934 to 1970 was professor of art at Stanford University.
