Vintage weighty felted wool blanket, military grade. Dated 1971 with a star. This blanket is soft, not scratchy and the weight such that you could use this as a rug on the floor (with a rug pad). Some rust staining to the backside but not bad at all. Areas of visible mending is you look closely enough. A real good one
