(born May 29, 1945) an Iconic American artist, calligrapher, typographer, printing entrepreneur, and author. He was born in Oregon and printed all the his own work throughout his career.

A close friend of Alice Waters of Chez Pannise fame, he has illustrated many of her cookbooks.
