Mid century coffee table in a rarer round shape by iconic and local furniture maker B P John. Designing and manufacturing right here in Portland from the late 1800s until they closed in 1977, John’s designs tended to mimic the styles of the era. This one was fashioned after the Danish designs of the mid century. Stamped and marked below
Walnut veneered parquet top with slim style legs of the era, tipped with brushed chrome. The table has some minimal overall surface wear but the veneer is still in great shape. A nice way to incorporate both a local and vintage handmade piece into your interiors.
