A collograph is printmaking technique where artists create a printing plate by collaging various textured materials, such as fabric string leaves or cardboard onto a rigid base. The term comes from "collage" and "graph" (to draw), and the resulting textured plate is inked and pressed onto paper to produce rich, tactile, and often experimental prints. Carolyn still creates and teaches print art in Massachusetts under Muskat Studios.
