Absolutely wonderful large gouache painting. Bridges the gap between abstract expressionism and a stilL life painting. Done in a very tactile gouache and oil stick…chalky in feel and appearance. The paper is very delicate, a peek into its age. A repaired corner is evident but doesn’t detract.
Sold without canvas mount. We recommend framing this to preserve it and we can assist you in that process if you’d like.
