Gwen Frostic (1906–2001) was a celebrated Michigan naturalist and artist known for her distinctive nature-themed block prints. Despite physical challenges from a childhood illness, she became a successful entrepreneur, writer, and nature lover. Her work features detailed linoleum block carvings of Michigan flora and fauna, which she printed using vintage Heidelberg presses.
