Leonard Dixon (1938–2025) was a Portland based artist, painter and long time member of the local Subud community. Throughout his life, he expressed his creative talents across poetry, music, and painting.
Beyond his personal art, he was well-known in the city as a dedicated advocate for the unhoused, founding the Street Books project, a bicycle-powered street library serving Portland’s unhoused community
