Amazing bit of textile history. Part of a 1920s Egyptian Revival tapestry. A vegetable dyed linen panel with hand sewing. The imagery of Egyptian goddess Isis is lovely. Shapes and faded colors all perfect. Hangs from a delicate wire folly. The textile has a small bit of wear, commensurate with age. Some age staining too.
