The history of sumi ink is very interesting- traditional sumi ink comes in a solid form and takes at least four years of production before the ink sticks can be sold and even longer for the more expensive ones.
This is framed under glass in a vintage wood frame with hanger. Matted. Some rippling to the paper is common and to be expected with the age and gives it almost the look of fabric
