Gorgeous old quilt dating to the early 20th century/ late 1800s. Cotton ticking, calicos and plaid feed sacks. Cotton batting fill. Hand stitched. It’s delicate and worn so a great candidate for a cutter or hanging on display over a banister as a true part of textile history.
Condition: Overall worn. Many squares however are completely intact. Back has some faint age fade but the quilt is very clean. Degradation of the cotton fabrics. Thinning of parts of the interior. Faint age staining. Zoom in to see all photos.
