Vintage Niloak Pottery Polar Bear Planter or Trinket Holder with a Matte Yellow Beige Glaze.

The planter is marked on the underside.

Niloak Pottery was founded in 1911 in Benton, Arizona. Niloak is kaolin spelled backwards which is the fine clay used in production. During the Great Depression, Niloak began producing cast ware pottery.

Measurements:

The approximate measurement of the polar bear planter is 5” nose to tail and 3” tall.

Condition:

The condition of the planter is very good working pre-owned vintage condition.

There is a small chip on the base as shown in the photo. The “indent” is NOT a chip, but actually part of the figure and has been glazed.
